Finally, with thanks to 3D printing, there is a new form of key. The 3D print technique works by layering material until the object being created is formed. Once these layers are completed, the printer will then cover the object with a solid layer. Printing a key in this manner makes the groves and teeth extremely difficult to copy as they are hidden from view.

The name of this new product is the Stealth Key. Printed in titanium, one of the most durable materials, the keys will last a long time. The teeth of the key are hidden under ledges, consequently making the key unscannable. How this key is designed will make it extremely difficult for people to copy.

The machines that produce this key are high grade pieces of machinery. Using a laser to fuse together the layers makes it a slow process (manufacturing takes about a day), but it is worth the time and effort.
